The 4 star, 60 room Resort Hotel, situated close to the beach on the south coast of the Island of Porto Santo. The project aims at a dimensionally contained building, U shaped for wind protection, and which does not exceed the regional motorway level. The landscaped flat roof, covered in the local sandy soil and endemic plants, becomes an extension of the surrounding vegetation and merges with the landscape.
To ensure the fragile dune ecosystem is not threatened in any way, the building converges as close as possible to the regional motorway.

A solução aposta numa volumetria de grande contenção, que se desenvolve em U para assegurar a protecção dos ventos dominantes, não excedendo a cota da estrada regional. A cobertura plana e ajardinada prolongará virtualmente o coberto vegetal existente no solo, fundindo o edifício com a paisagem.
A construção concentra-se junto à estrada regional, salvaguardando integralmente a zona mais sensível da duna.
